For demanding building automation applications: smaller dimensions and a maximum of 40,000 data points

Krefeld, July 09, 2019 - Krefeld-based MBS GmbH has completely redeveloped its tried-and-tested Gateway maxi - now called Mk II. The result is a hardware component that is only a third of the size of conventional devices. At the same time, its capacity of 20,000 or 40,000 data points is twice as high as that of its predecessor model. "There is currently no other gateway on the market that is so space-saving on the one hand and so powerful on the other," emphasizes Nils-Gunnar Fritz, Managing Director of MBS GmbH.

MBS GmbH has joined the Thread Group(www.threadgroup.org/). "We are keeping a close eye on the market and expect Thread to play a significant role in building automation in the medium term," says CEO Nils-Gunnar Fritz. "BACnet-2-OPC" transmits BACnet data from the building automation system to a control system via OPC UA or DA

Krefeld-based MBS GmbH is expanding its OPC product range based on the Open Platform Communications specification Unified Architecture (OPC UA). The BACnet-2-OPC software solution is now available as the first new release from the long-standing expert for BUS protocols in building automation. "BACnet-2-OPC ensures data transmission from BACnet field devices to OPC UA or DA-based applications and replaces our tried-and-tested BACnet OPC server," explains Nils-Gunnar Fritz, CEO of MBS GmbH.

MBS and Mervisoft: Innovative TRIC plug-in enables automated testing of BACnet networks

Krefeld, May 21, 2019 - In cooperation with Wiesbaden-based Mervisoft GmbH, MBS GmbH has developed a plugin that makes the TRIC planning tool usable for BACnet networks. "This additional module for our BACeye 2.0 Explorer considerably simplifies project controlling in building automation for planners and integrators," expects Nils-Gunnar Fritz, CEO of MBS GmbH. "This is because it brings together the planning target for the construction of large properties with the actual status of the completed system."
