MBS was foundedon January 19, 1987.
In the early years, the focus was on software development for building control centers, communication systems and network technology.

1990 - 1995:
Start of the development of communication gateways, gateway driver concepts with multi-protocol core and the development of protocol drivers.

1995 - 2000:
Development of BACnet communication gateways for the Reichstag project. Membership in the BACnet Interest Group Europe BIG-EU

2000 - 2005:
Development of the BACnet stack for the development of BACnet-compliant applications on all major software platforms: Linux, QNX, Windows and Embedded. Committee work in the BIG-EU and BACnet International. Development of routers, gateways and industrial control systems

2005 - 2010:
Development of test software for carrying out interoperability tests for BACnet automation systems and control centers. Software expansion of the universal gateway concept with additional communication drivers. Foundation of CS-Lab.

2010 - 2018:
Development of BACeye. Establishment of the DAkkS-accredited test laboratory for BACnet communication of automation systems and control technologies in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. Hardware expansion of the universal gateway concept for M-Bus, LON, KNX, Profinet etc. Foundation of MBS Solutions
