M-Bus OPC server
Transfer data from connected M-Bus meters to OPC-based applications. The M-Bus OPC server establishes the connection between M-Bus devices and OPC clients.
Features
Primary and secondary addressing is supported on the M-Bus side.
The baud rate for communication with M-Bus devices is adjustable or can be detected automatically.
The built-in value monitor allows you to check current values online.
An import/export interface enables project planning and data exchange using text files.
Project configurations are saved as a binary file and can be loaded automatically when the software is started.
The program can be configured using the standard DCOM settings; access and user rights are implemented using the standard Windows mechanisms.
Distributed use in the network (i.e. OPC client and M-Bus OPC server run on different computers) is guaranteed by the support of the DCOM functions.
The number of possible OPC clients is only limited by the computer capacity.
Free updates are available for registered users on the homepage of MBS GmbH.
An optional RS232/M-Bus level converter is available for connection to M-Bus networks.
Supported OPC specifications:
OPC Data Access (DA) Specifications Version 1.0
OPC Data Access (DA) Specifications Version 2.0
