MBS GmbH expands its management team

Nils-Gunnar Fritz has been appointed CEO

Krefeld, April 20, 2016 - Krefeld-based MBS GmbH is expanding its management team. In addition to Martin Brust-Theiß and Gerhard Memmen-Krüger, Nils-Gunnar Fritz is now part of the management team of the specialist for industrial and building automation. Fritz already has extensive experience in the company's various business areas. He is also a proven expert when it comes to efficient building automation with the manufacturer-independent BACnet network protocol.

Formerly a freelance software developer for the financial and energy sectors, he joined MBS GmbH back in 2003: Initially involved in the development of universal gateways for building automation, he took on the role of senior support engineer in 2005. Here he was responsible for the first and second level support of all MBS products. After three years, he moved to product management, where he was responsible for the universal gateways.

As an authorized signatory, Fritz took over responsibility for the operational business of MBS GmbH in 2010. This included the coordination of support, marketing and sales as well as the management of the BACnet test laboratory. In this role, he managed the project aimed at accrediting MBS GmbH as a test center for BACnet conformance tests in 2012. Fritz introduced the quality management manual based on DIN EN ISO 17025 and coordinated all activities with the aim of passing the certification audit at the first attempt - with success.
