Technical Content Specialist (m/f/d)

Documentation | Training | Support | Communication

Technical products require understandable documentation.

Why this role is important

Technical documentation is more than just manuals.

Well-structured content helps our customers reach their goals faster, reduces the burden on support and development, and ensures that knowledge remains available within the company.

With the right person, we can systematically build up technical communication at MBS—understandable, consistent, and scalable.

What you do with us

  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for our products (e.g., manuals, data sheets, or online help) – understandable, structured, and tailored to the target audience

  • Structuring and maintaining technical content for our help center, instructions, and knowledge bases

  • Preparation of technical content for training courses, workshops, and webinars

  • Supporting our support team in preparing recurring questions and solutions

  • Collaboration on technical content for marketing and sales, e.g., white papers, product descriptions, or website content

  • Support in the further development of our technical communication and documentation structure

The focus of the role is clearly on technical documentation and the structured preparation of knowledge.

What you should bring with you

  • Experience in technical writing—ideally in the field of building automation, IT, software, or electronics

  • Ability to explain complex technical issues in an understandable way

  • Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English

  • A structured and independent approach to work

  • Interest in structuring knowledge and preparing it for different target groups

Confident use of common office tools such as Word and PowerPointis important, as many documentation and training materials are based on them.

Experience with layout or documentation toolssuch as InDesign, MadCap Flare, Confluence, or similar systems is also an advantage.
